The Request
There is a reason to why I am even making this page. This page is a request to bring Michael Rooker back as Merle Dixon, not in flashbacks or hallucinations...
As fans, I think that we also have a say on who stays and who goes from the show. After all, its because of the fans that the show survives as a hit. I think the writers and producers should give some of us the ability to be able to write one episode and as a free pass.
Request to bring back Merle Dixon
I believe there was much more that Merle had to offer to Rick's team. He was so skilled, there were so many layers to him
Michael Rooker:
I had never heard of him until I saw him in Season One. I loved his character no questions asked! I realized from that moment that this is a great, talented actor. In Season 3 we all were witness to the ability of Michael Rooker as an actor. He is very animated and puts so much passion into his work. This was a character that a lot people either loved, or loved to hate. Killing Merle off without further development was a bad pay off to such a great actor. He put in so much work into Merle.
